This class is all about having fun and moving your body to the kid friendly versions of your favorite hip hop and pop songs over the decades.
Each week we will build up choreography to a song for the month.
We will review basic hip hop steps and create fun movements and combinations from them.
Ages: 8-12 and no experience required!
Clean supportive sneakers or split sole dance sneakers highly recommended. No street shoes please

Let's get moving and reading with our little ones!

We’ll end class with interactive story time and snack before you head out for the day. Bonus benefits for the adults include increased flexibility, balance, dance appreciation, and meeting other grown-ups. No experience is necessary.
Dress: Keep it comfortable and relaxed! Dance attire is not required but is welcomed.
Must be accompanied by their adult.

Like all of our classes, we keep it casual and fun with a simple class structure that incorporates stretching, coordination exercises, rhythm, choreography, and some props.
Please note: Obstacle courses will only be in the Creative Movement classes as we will focus more on learning choreography of all types of dance styles.
Every class, the group is invited to contribute their own moves and add their own flare to my base moves.
We incorporate all kinds of dance styles, including lyrical, ballet, jazz, modern, and hip hop. We’re always learning something new and fun.

Starting the arts and mindfulness at a young age can be so rewarding. We love going to daycares to entertain and watch what the kids’ imaginations come up with through our dance and stretch options.
Schools or Recreational Programs - When working parents need a couple more minutes of work, your school program needs a music and movement aspect, or a kid isn’t into sports and crafts, we got you. We’ll bring the dance or stretch class to your school or program. We can design something to meet your needs.
Homeschool option: Create your own class and bring the kids to the studio.

Our students have the option to participate in our end of the year Showcase performance. This is a recital that the students work together to create and show friends and family what they’ve done. it will be 15 minutes following the regular Wildflowers class.
Students help make their costumes, choreograph their dances, and create something they can be proud of.
There is no additional fee at this time. Any upcoming fees will be very minimal and discussed with the families prior to a decision.
If you or your child would like to partake, please let us know in class.

ON HOLD
Lengthen your body, stretch your muscles, and get your energy flowing to the instrumental versions of timeless and well known songs. This class is where asana (poses) meet dance but don’t worry you don’t need to know how to dance or be flexible. We will move to the music with a continuous flow of our simple yet powerful poses. Each class will start with an intention and end with a relaxing cool down. No experience required. All levels and beliefs are welcome.
SATURDAYS Family, 45 minutes, mat focus. Partner poses optional. Family friendly stretch but all are welcome.
$20 per adult plus kids
$15 per adult
All children must be accompanied by an adult.

Learn a hip hop/jazz fusion number alongside your child in our Kid and their Adult Partner Choreo class and find your new fun activity to do together.
Each class will include a warm up/cool down, original choreography, the chance to contribute to the piece, and the choice to have an in class peer performance. Bonus benefits include showing each other you can step out of your comfort zone, increased confidence, a fun activity to work together on while creating memories, and meeting new people in a no pressure, fun atmosphere.

Whatever the age group, we put equal parts love and passion into every one.
*some adult classes can be up to 1 hour to allow for enough breaks; sometimes other classes run slightly longer by choice because we’re having so much fun!
